Our Lavender
J Bell Cellars goes beyond the wine. Knowing lavender would thrive in the dry, rocky soil that used to be a pear orchard, we purchased 10,000 tiny lavender plants in 2013. Eight years later a breathtaking variety of blue, purple and white flowers greets you as you approach J. Bell Cellars during the late spring and summer months. The flowers are not just grown for an appealing landscape. They are also distilled into the essential oil which is made into lotions, candles, balms and soaps that are sold in the tasting room.
